Cara’s area of practice encompasses adolescents and adults. She has spent a majority of her career immersed in treating eating disorders in a residential setting. As an outpatient counselor, she specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, body image, depression, anxiety, self-harm, and trauma.

She earned her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana State University. She utilizes cognitive, behavioral, and experiential techniques to address underlying issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, and self-injury. She takes a Health at Every Size approach to treating Eating Disorders and is passionate about focusing on the whole person.

As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist-Supervisor, Cara will lead the treatment team at Center for Hope for adolescents and adults experiencing an eating disorder.
