Amanda compliments our family and children team with 15 years of experience that includes both young children, adolescents and caregiver support. Her expertise includes treating issues related to anxiety, depression, anger management, school issues, impulse control, trauma and parenting support. Amanda has spent several years achieving her Registered Play Therapist credential. This unique skill set supports Center for Hope’s mission to allow children to heal through their natural language.

As a Registered Play Therapist trained in trauma competencies, Amanda is also trained in Brainspotting. Her early experience working with children in a residential treatment facility has provided knowledge about mental health, intellectual disabilities and trauma competent care. Amanda is committed to advocating and providing support for her clients, while working towards the child’s best interest. Amanda primarily works with children and adolescents, ages 3 through age eighteen. She believes in a systemic model to treatment and understands caregivers are a part of the treatment team, thus need support and guidance as they are included in the treatment process.
