Amanda has been an outpatient clinician on Center for Hope and Family Solutions’ Eating Disorder team since 2014. However, she has spent her entire career since 2011, treating people struggling with eating disorders which included experience working in a residential eating disorder treatment center. This experience prepared her to work closely with families, physicians, therapists and other treatment team practitioners to provide fully informed care for her clients. Amanda is a Health at Every Size clinician focusing on eating disorder recovery, principles of intuitive eating, intuitive movement and weight-inclusive medical nutrition therapy.
Amanda provides individualized care for adults and adolescents who have been stuck in patterns of chronic dieting and wanting to stop the dieting cycle, who are experiencing any signs and symptoms of dysfunctional eating or who have been diagnosed with an eating disorder. Being a certified personal trainer, Amanda can assist clients in repairing compulsive, obsessive, avoidant or punishing relationships with movement.
